Kevin Adams entered the 6th night of the Sunshine State Modified Tour on Friday night at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida. After qualifying second in his group and starting outside of the front row, Buzzy was his heat race in convincing fashion and proceeded to redraw the outside of the front row for the night's 30-lap main event.

Kevin jumped to the lead at the start and held a commanding advantage throughout much of the event, only to see Tait Davenport sneak by on a mid race restart and drive to his second straight SSMT victory. Adams raced home with a solid second and re-took the point lead with a pair of events remaining.
