September 29, 2018 - Buzzy Adams Attends Race for Hope 74 at Batesville Motor Speedway
Kevin made the trip to the Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, Arkansas this past weekend to run the Larry Shaw Race Cars house car in the Hope for 74 $20,000 to win IMCA Modified event. After 5 nights in Batesville, Kevin needed a little more luck on his side to qualify for the main event, but ran well each night and consistently made gains on the car throughout the week. September 22, 2018 - Adams Wins Late Race Thriller in Punky Manor Challenge of Champions at Red Cedar
Kevin entered the 39th annual Punky Manor Challenge of Champions this past weekend at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI with both his Modified and Midwest Modified. In the Midwest Mod, he won his heat race on Friday night, putting him 4th overall in passing points for the Saturday finale. In the finale, he was running inside the top five early in the race and had a mechanical issue take him out of contention for the win. In the Modified, he also won his qualifying heat race on Friday night, putting him 5th overall for Saturday's main. Saturday, he quickly moved into the runner up spot and stalked the race leader until there were just 2 laps remaining, when he made the pass for the lead on the backstretch and then held on to pick up the victory. September 15, 2018 - 2nd Place Finish in B-Mod Special at Mosquito Speedway
Kevin made the trip north of the border this past weekend to compete in the 5th annual $10,000 to win BMod race at the Mosquito Speedway in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Friday night, he competed in time trials and was 7th fastest in the first session and fourth fastest in the second session putting him on the front row of both sets of heat races on Saturday. In those heats, he started 2nd and won the first set and then started on the pole and won the second set, putting him into Sunday's pole dash. In the dash, he redrew 5th and finished third, putting him third for the 50-lap main event. He ran inside the top five all event long, eventually coming home with a strong runner up finish for his efforts.

September 8, 2018 - Blake Adams Sweeps WI State Championship at Thunder Hill Speedway
Blake swept both nights (Friday and Saturday) of the Wisconsin State Championship in the Rookie Cage Division at Thunder Hill Speedway in Downsville, WI.  Both wins were the first two of his rookie season.

September 2, 2018 - Buzzy Adams Goes 3-For-4 at Rice Lake Speedway
Kevin was in action three times this past weekend, starting off at the Proctor Speedway in Proctor, MN for the annual Silver 1000. Kevin won his heat race from 9th before redrawing 4 for the main event. During the 30-lap main, Kevin battled for the lead for much of the event, leading several laps, but settled in for a second place finish when the checkered flag flew. Friday's races were rained out, so Kevin had to wait until

Saturday to get back behind the wheel of his #40. He bad both his Modified and the Midwest Modified in action at the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI for their annual Labor Day weekend doubleheader. Saturday night, Kevin swept both divisions, winning his Modified heat from third and the feature from the pole and winning the Midwest Modified heat from second and the feature from his seventh starting position.

On Sunday, he nearly completed the weekend sweep, by winning his Midwest Modified heat from fourth and the feature from seventh and then winning his Modified heat from sixth, but he was forced to settle for second in the feature after a lead-swapping battle for much of the event.
