Adams Wins Late Race Thriller in Punky Manor Challenge of Champions at Red Cedar

Kevin entered the 39th annual Punky Manor Challenge of Champions this past weekend at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI with both his Modified and Midwest Modified. In the Midwest Mod, he won his heat race on Friday night, putting him 4th overall in passing points for the Saturday finale. In the finale, he was running inside the top five early in the race and had a mechanical issue take him out of contention for the win. In the Modified, he also won his qualifying heat race on Friday night, putting him 5th overall for Saturday's main. Saturday, he quickly moved into the runner up spot and stalked the race leader until there were just 2 laps remaining, when he made the pass for the lead on the backstretch and then held on to pick up the victory.
