Adams Sweeps Season Openers at Red Cedar and Rice Lake Speedway

Kevin kicked off his WISSOTA racing season this past weekend with the season openers at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI on Friday night and the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI on Saturday night and resulted in a pair of clean sweeps to open the season. Friday at Red Cedar, Kevin raced from the outside of the front row to an easy heat race victory, but then redrew 7 for the main event. Kevin battled the treacherous track conditions during the entire 20-lapper and charged his way through the field into second as laps wound down. A late race caution would set up a green-white-checkered finish where Kevin blasted by race long leader Jake Hartung to the lead on the final lap and held that spot to the checkered.

Saturday night, Kevin started on the pole and won his qualifying heat race and then raced his way from the outside of the 2nd row to the lead early and ran off with his second straight victory to open local competition.
