Buzzy Adams Wins Minnesota Modified Nationals

Kevin kicked off this past weekend with a Friday night trip to the newly named Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wi for their season opener. In the Modified, Kevin ran third and had a great run to finish fourth in the feature, while in the Midwest Modified, he ran 5th in the heat race and pulled off in the feature, not finishing. Saturday and Sunday was the big $10,000 to win Minnesota Modified Nationals at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, MN. On Saturday night, Kevin ran fifth in his Modified heat race and then came home 9th in the feautre, while in the Midwest Modified, he placed 5th and 3rd in his two rounds of heat races, which set the lineups for Sunday night. Sunday, Kevin ran 2nd in the Midwest Modified b-main and then ran 14th in the talent-loaded Midwest Modified 50-lap feature. The story of the weekend was the Modified main event on Sunday night... After charging from the tail to finish 2nd in his heat race, Kevin took the lead early in the feature and thrilled the crowd with a lead-swapping performance with Dan Ebert during the late stages of the event.
