Adams Wins in Modified at Red Cedar; Parks Midwest Mod in VL at Rice Lake

Buzzy ran both his Modified and Midwest Modified this past weekend on Friday at the Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI and on Saturday at the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, WI and came away with a pair of wins for his efforts. On Friday, Kevin started 6th and won his Midwest Modified heat race before charging from 8th to 2nd in the feature, coming home with a solid runner up finish. In the Modified, he also won his heat race after starting 3rd and then started on the front row for the feature and waged a great battle for the lead with Ashley Anderson for much of the event, pulling ahead and pulling away late for the victory.

Saturday night, Kevin swept the action in the Midwest Modified, winning his heat from third and winning the feature from outside of the front row and posted a pair of runner up finishes in the Modified, coming from 6th to 2nd in his heat race and from 4th to 2nd in the feature. The team will turn their attention to the $10,000 to win Minnesota Modified Nationals this coming weekend at the Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota.
