Blake and Kevin pick up wins at Madison; Blake adds Redwood triumph
Both Kevin and Blake were in action at the Madison Speedway in Madison, MN for the track's Madtown Showdown doubleheader.
Friday, Kevin picked up a pair of second place finishes, racing from 4th up to 2nd in both his heat race and the night's feature. Blake won his heat race from third and then raced forward from 8th to finish 5th on the night in the Midwest Modified feature as well.
Saturday, Kevin swept the action, winning his heat from the pole and then completing the sweep of the night by racing from 3rd up to win the feature race. After Blake raced from 5th up to 2nd in his heat race, he started the feature from the pole and took off and never looked back, winning the future for his efforts.
Blake the made the trip to the Redwood Speedway in Redwood Falls, MN on Sunday night to cap off the weekend. He started 3rd and won his heat race and then started 3rd again in the night's feature race and after settling in to second on the start and riding in the runner up spot for the first half of the race, he worked to the outside of the track, swept by to the lead and raced to his second win of the weekend.
