Podium finish for Blake and Kevin in Gopher State Showdown

Both Kevin and Blake entered the 2nd annual Gopher State Showdown at the I-94 emr Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minnesota over the weekend.

Friday night, both drivers started 6th in their respective qualifying heat races and Blake was able to race to the front and pick up the win. Kevin nearly did the same thing, racing from 6th to 2nd in his qualifier.

Saturday night, by virtue of passing points, both drivers earned front row starting spots in their respective feature races. Blake battled for the lead during the entire 25-lap distance, leaving several laps and nearly stealing the lead back on the final lap, but settled for second when the checkered flag flew.

Kevin also ran inside the top three during the entire 35-lap Modified feature, battling for the lead early, eventually settling in for a third-place finish to cap off a good weekend for the team.
